Hutchings Sacked For Bradford Failures
who: Bradford City
what: Sack manager Chris Hutchings
where: Valley Parade, BRADFORD
when: Yesterday
snippet: "Chris Hutchings last night paid for Bradford City`s dismal Premiership performances," reports The Telegraph`s William Johnson, "when he was sacked by Geoffrey Richmond, the club`s chairman."
Hutchings and coach Malcolm Shotton, who also departed, have been in charge of City for only 12 league games with only one win - a 2-0 defeat over Chelsea - and five goals so far this season.

Assistant player-manager and former Scotland international Stuart McCall has taken on the job on a caretaker basis, although he was absent last night at a hastily-arranged press conference, says The Mirror, because the doting dad was taking his kids to a party.
"I feel sorry for Chris," says Bradford midfield star Dean Windass in The Telegraph. "It`s us [the players] that have got the club in this situation, not Chris. He only puts a team out on the field." [... more]
