Keegan`s Squad Cursed By Injuries
who: Kevin Keegan
what: May call up Chris Sutton to injury-ravaged squad
where: Stade de France, Paris
when: Saturday

Sutton, whose form seems to have returned at his new club, Celtic, was dropped by Chelsea after scoring only one Premiership goal last season. He may now stand in at Saturday`s friendly against France for either Andy Cole (sore achilles tendon) or Kevin Phillips (shoulder injury).

"I`ve decided what I want to do in an ideal world but I`ve got to wait for the personnel to come through," said a disconsolate Keegan yesterday. "For some reason we are picking up a lot of injuries. Maybe it is because we have started the season with three games in a week, sometimes two games in three days." [... more]
