snippet: As England begin a series of one-day internationals in Zimbabwe, uninspired cricket fans should stifle a yawn, says The Guardian`s Tanya Aldred, because both sides are "desperate to win".
"The tourists have lost their last 11 one-day internationals and Zimbabwe their last seven," she continues (England last won in Pakistan on October 24th 2000). "Whoever loses this five-match series will walk away with a very red face. And there are still a few old scores to settle."
