Fowler A Class Apart On Leeds Debut

But although it was an inauspicious debut, says The Sun`s Mark Irwin, Fowler, "can console himself with the knowledge things can only better as soon as his team-mates learn how to pass him the ball." The Guardian`s David Lacey agrees that Robbie is not necessarily the one who needs improvement. "After so long at Liverpool Fowler must have felt like a senior academic who had wandered into the D stream," he says.
"Robbie needs a good run of 10 or 12 games," reckons Leeds manager David O`Leary. "He has so many qualities that will make us a better team."
