Burley`s Tractor Boys Blitzed At San Siro
who: Ipswich Town
what: Lose 4-1 to Inter Milan in UEFA Cup
where: Milan
when: Last night

But Inter`s answer to the consolation goal was swift, says Sam Wallace in The Telegraph. "They brought on Ronaldo... If his absence from the starting XI was a relief, Ronaldo`s presence on the bench was a warning that the club leading Serie A had a depth to their squad that Ipswich could barely imagine."
"It`s a shame we didn`t make more of a game of it," said boss George Burley afterwards, "but we were beaten by a very good side." [... more]
