what: Threatens more suicide bombings against American interests around the world
where: Afghanistan
when: Yesterday
snippet: "Osama bin Laden`s terrorist network last night threatened more suicide hijackings and other deadly attacks on American interests around the world," reports The Times. "In an unprecedented broadcast, a senior al-Qaeda figure said that thousands of young Muslims were ready to give their lives in the fight against the United States."

Furthermore, Taliban spokesman Abdul Hai Mutmaen has said that Bin Laden is now free to wage his jihad, reports the BBC. "He had previously been barred by the regime from using telephones, fax machines and the internet."
