Hamiltons May Sue Over Rape Scandal

"The former government minister and his wife say that they are considering bringing a case for unlawful arrest and wrongful imprisonment," writes chief reporter Ian Cobain, "after being questioned about an alleged attack on a college lecturer."
Mr and Mrs Hamilton were questioned on Friday about the alleged sexual assault of a 28-year-old college lecturer and mother-of-two at an orgy in Ilford on May 5th. Yet The Hamiltons say they gave a dinner party for half-a-dozen people at their Battersea flat on that occasion and in today`s Scotsman, businessman and Eurosceptic lobbyist Tony Tucker says he recalls having "an extremely jolly evening" in their company.
But the alleged victim`s mother, while admitting her daughter is "no angel", insists she is "no liar" either, reports The Mirror. "I can`t tell you what I think of the Hamiltons," she says, "you wouldn`t print it." [... more]
