"The glass front of the restaurant was ripped off," reports The Mirror. "The explosion shredded an awning, overturned tables and chairs and left the patio of the Wall Street Cafe covered with blood."
"The militant Palestinian group, Islamic Jihad, said it carried out Sunday`s blast," reports the BBC, "but a spokesman for the Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, said the Palestinian Authority had not done enough to rein in the terrorists."
Mr Sharon "is encouraging Israelis to believe they are now engaged in a full-scale war with Palestinians," reports The Independent. It was the second suicide bombing by Islamic extremists in Israel in three days. A similar bomb in a family pizza restaurant in Jerusalem on Thursday killed 15 people and injured many more.
