Review of the Year: Christine Hamilton: Clearly Not A Banana
who: Christine Hamilton
what: To continue civil action against accusers as police confirm they will not press criminal charges
where: LONDON
when: Yesterday
snippet: "I said if they charged me, I was a banana," said Christine Hamilton yesterday after she and her husband were cleared of sex-attack allegations made by 28-year-old Nadine Milroy-Sloan. "I`m clearly not a banana. This is wonderful, wonderful news."

"The police are still examining allegations against Barry Lehaney, 61," says The Times, "a former financial adviser, who is alleged to have raped Ms Milroy-Sloan in his Ilford flat on May 5." [... more]
