Becks Will Only Play If He`s 100% Fit
who: David Beckham
what: Should be fit for Germany game after "favourable" medical tests
where: Munich
when: Saturday
snippet: "England last night received a `favourable` scan on David Beckham`s groin injury," reports The Telegraph`s Henry Winter from the England training camp, "and the national team captain will fly out with the rest of Sven-Goran Eriksson`s squad tomorrow to Munich."

Eriksson`s side will be seriously off-balance without Beckham, who has missed only two of England`s past 22 matches, recalls The Guardian`s David Lacey. But with just three training sessions to go, Eriksson says there is no way he is going to change formation. Whatever his decision, England must win the game to stand a chance of qualifying automatically for the 2002 finals in Japan and South Korea. [... more]
