Mysterious Tragedy Of PC Bluestone

what: May have killed wife and children because of wife`s affair
where: GRAVESEND
when: Tuesday night
snippet: "Tormented policeman Karl Bluestone tried to wipe out his whole family after his wife told him she was leaving him for another man," reports The Mirror this morning.

"Chandler, 18 months, and Jack, 8, were rushed to hospital with severe head injuries," says The Times. "Chandler later died, while Jack was in a stable condition after being taken off the critical list."

"There were rumours of work-related stress and depression," says The Independent, "but nobody could comprehend how a well-liked man who appeared to be devoted to his family could pick up a hammer and beat his wife and children to death."
