More Terror Attacks This Week, Warns FBI

what: Says it has "specific, credible information" about forthcoming terror attack
where: Washington DC
when: Yesterday
snippet: "America was last night put on its highest state of alert," reports The Guardian, "after the attorney general said he had specific, credible information of further `very serious` terrorist attacks in the coming days."
"John Ashcroft, the Attorney-General, said that he could not be clear about the target or the method of attack, or whether it would be launched against the US mainland or its interests abroad," says The Times.
