Mum Charged With Killing Sons In Pub Arson

snippet: "The mother of two young children who died in a pub fire has been charged with three counts of manslaughter and arson," reports The Telegraph. "Kate Knight, 31, was questioned yesterday about a blaze at the Prince of Wales, in Stoke Newington, north London, which swept through the pub`s living quarters killing Christopher Knight, 10, and his half brother Charlie, five. She was bailed to appear before Thames magistrates today."
She was arrested early on Wednesday by detectives at the Broomfield Hospital, Essex "where she has maintained a vigil for her three-year-old son, Joe, who suffered horrific burns in the blaze nine weeks ago," says The Independent. "Mrs Knight was the landlady of the pub."
As well as her sons, the fire on on June 27th killed 35 year-old family friend Ronnie Springer, who died in hospital six weeks after the fire from injuries he received while saving Joe and eight year-old Vicki Chaundi. [... more]
