snippet: With a fifth week at the top of the chart, `Where Is The Love` by Black Eyed Peas - featuring guest vocals by Justin Timberlake - is the longest-running UK Number One hit single for seven years. An in case you were wondering, dotmusic.com`s James Masterton points out today that the last single to equal the feat was Cher`s `Believe` in October 1998.

`Sweet Dreams My LA Ex` by Rachel Stevens and `I Believe In A Thing Called Love` by The Darkness swap places this week the former rising one place from Three to Two, the latter dropping from Two to Three. Oddly enough, their album Permission To Land has done precisely the same thing. Meanwhile, Rachel Stevens released her new album last week and it has charted at this week`s Number Nine.

There`s a new entry at Number Four for the former S Club Juniors now known as S Club 8 and Dido`s `White Flag` drops from Four to Number Five. But it`s a good week for the singer-songwriter because her new album, Life For Rent, has shot straight to Number One. There are a couple of other new entries in the Top Ten. Travis return to the charts with `Re-Offender` and Amy Studt follows up her Number Six hit `Misfit` with new single `Under The Thumb`. Over in the album chart there`s not much movement except at the very top, where Robbie Williams`s Knebworth live album has to settle for second place after Dido. [... more]
