The researchers concluded that the term "economy-class syndrome" was a misnomer because first class passengers were equally affected. They identified "four cases of pulmonary embolism and five of DVT, amounting to 1 per cent of the total." And in another health study from New Zealand, reported on The Evening Standard`s website, researchers from the University of Auckland say "silver cars were said to be half as likely to be involved in a major crash as white cars".
