"The former world heavyweight champion, who has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act, had been heard crying out the name of his former wife, Laura," says Adam Fresco in The Times. "He became violent yesterday morning a few hours before she arrived at the North East London NHS Mental Health Trust hospital in Goodmayes, Ilford, Essex."

"It also emerged today that Bruno, 41, was spotted wandering the streets of Liverpool just 48 hours before he was sectioned," reports The Evening Standard`s website, thisislondon.com. "Residents in the Walton area of the city were amazed when Bruno started knocking on doors on Saturday, saying he was looking for an old friend."

"He seemed absolutely fine and there were no signs of him being ill, although I suppose we weren`t really looking for that," says 36 year-old local Marie Rigby, who is quoted in several newspapers today, including The Telegraph.
