snippet: `I Believe In A Thing Called Love` narrowly misses out on the top spot this week - the third single by The Darkness enters the charts at Number Two but Black Eyed Peas are holding on for a fourth week at Number One with `Where Is The Love?` featuring guest vocals by Justin Timberlake. And it`s second-best all round for the Lowesoft rockers because they`ve been knocked off the top spot over on the album chart; but we`ll come to that in a moment.

Former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens and Dido both drop down one place - `Farewell My LA Ex` falls from Two to Three and `White Flag` falls from Three to Four.

Paul Oakenfold`s Elvis Presley remix `Rubberneckin`` is new at Five and there are two other new entries in the Top Ten - Evanescence fail to follow up the mammoth success of `Bring Me To Life` with `Going Under` at Eight and Neighbours star Delta Goodrem`s third successive hit `Innocent Eyes` is new at Nine.

Meanwhile, there`s a new Number One in the suddenly volatile album chart courtesy of Muse`s third album proper, Absolution, knocking Permission to Land by The Darkness down to Number Two. Sting`s Sacred Love is new at Number Three and R Kelly`s Greatest Hits package is this week`s brand new Number Four. Nickelback`s new album The Long Road debuts at Five and Limp Bizkit`s long-awaited new album, Results May Vary, is new at Seven. The Chemical Brothers` singles collection is new at Nine and Gareth Gates just misses out on the Top Ten with his second album, Go Your Own Way, at Number 11. [... more]
