snippet: Eminem`s 11th single `Just Lose It`, the first from his forthcoming album and the least inspired of his stellar career, is this week`s new UK Number One hit, proving that he could break wind into a microphone and still sell more records than Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, who just happen to be new at Numbers Three and Four with `My Prerogative` (a cover of the old Bobby Brown single) and `Car Wash` (a cover of the Rose Royce classic) respectively. But it is surprising that Eminem has managed to outsell the considerably more long-awaited new single by Destiny`s Child, `Lose My Breath`, which stalls at Number Two.
Usher is new at Five with the double-A-side `Confessions Part II` / `My Boo` and there are two more new entries in the Top Ten - Michael Gray`s `The Weekend` is new at Seven and Jamelia`s double-A-side `DJ` / `Stop` is new at Nine.
Over on the album chart, Simon Cowell`s four piece opera-lite boy band Il Divo`s debut album is top of the chart, knocking the Greatest Hits of Robbie Williams down to Two and there are new entries in the Top Ten for The Kings of Leon (Three), Travis (Four), Tina Turner (Six), The Bee Gees (Seven) and Phil Collins (Ten).
