Driver`s Family Shocked By Suicide

snippet: "The parents of the car driver who caused the death of six rail passengers in a suspected suicide attempt said they had no idea why he caused the crash," reports The Scotsman. "Brian Drysdale`s mother, Etta, who is in her seventies, told a neighbour she could not believe that her son would have gone ahead if he knew he would harm others."
"The family agreed to release a picture of Mr Drysdale, a chef from Reading, Berks, and expressed their sorrow for the victims of Saturday`s crash near the village of Ufton Nervet," says The Telegraph. "Mrs Drysdale spoke only to express her shock and to say that in losing a son she was conscious that others had lost loved ones."
"Last night a friend told how gay Drysdale, 48, spiralled into debt funding a drugs habit and trawled bars for gay sex," claims The Sun. "The loner hotel chef smoked marijuana, popped ecstasy tablets and took cocaine."
