Champions` League Preview
who: Celtic
what: Play Barcelona in Champions` League Group F
where: Parkhead, GLASGOW
when: Tonight
snippet: Henrik Larsson returns to Parkhead as Barcelona play Celtic in Champions` League Group F on the night London superclubs Arsenal (Group E) and Chelsea (Group H) also begin their European campaigns. Rumour has it that the erstwhile Celtic hero will be on the bench, but not if he has anything to do with it.
"Asked if he was ready to play despite reports of a hamstring injury," reports The Telegraph, "he said: `It`s good to be back in Scotland. I feel great and I`ve never felt fitter`."
Chelsea, led by Jose Mourinho, who coached FC Porto to the title last season, travel to Paris St Germain where The Sun says striker Didier Drogba - formerly of PSG`s arch-rivals Marseille - is likely to face a barrage of abuse.
Meanwhile, Arsenal take on PSV at Highbury and the memory of a 0-3 battering at home to Inter Milan at the start of last season still haunts Arsène Wenger, says The Guardian`s Kevin McCarra.
"We rushed into the Champions League last year by thinking that we had to make the difference quickly and we forgot the basics," Wenger says. "We were caught out on every break and we were 2-0 down early on. We have to show we have learned from it."
Matches kick off at 7.45pm. TV coverage of Arsenal v PSV Eindhoven is live on ITV1 from 7.30pm and tonight`s other games can be seen on Sky Sports 2 and ITV2. Meanwhile, Sky Sports Xtra brings you a choice of six games tonight and eight tomorrow courtesy of the red button on your remote control. [... more]
