snippet: U2 are top of the charts with `Vertigo`, their first new single for two years, lifted from their brand new album How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. The Irishmen notched up the biggest first week sale in many months, according to chart expert James Masterson`s column for Yahoo! Launch.

`Lose My Breath` by Destinay`s Child holds on at Two and last week`s Number One, `Just Lose It` by Eminem, drops to Three. There`s a new entry at Four for Blue with `Curtain Falls`, their appropriately-titled final single before the "temporary" career break few pundits expect them to return from.

There is just one other new entry in the Top Ten - Delta Goodrem`s `Out of the Blue` at Nine - but there are three new entries at the top of the album chart courtesy of Eminem, Britney Spears and Westlife respectively.
