Crossbow Fugitive Hunted Down
who: Boyer
what: Discovered in woodland hideaway after month-long search
where: Annesley Forest
when: Yesterday
snippet: A former miner hiding out in a forest after the crossbow killing of a neighbour was captured yesterday, reports The Sun, "in a den of branches and leaves at a spot called Robin Hood`s Hill."
"Survival fanatic" Robert Boyer, 42, was discovered by police a month after the hunt began on the night fellow ex-miner Keith Frogson, 62, was found dead outside his home in the Nottinghamshire coal village of Annesley Woodhouse. He and Mr Frogson - who played a prominent role in the industrial action - "loathed each other" and conducted a feud which appears to have ended with Mr Frogson`s violent death.
Police are still scouring the same area of woodland for Terry Rodgers, who is wanted in connection with the murder of his newlywed daughter Chanel, who was shot dead at the end of July. [... more]
