snippet: Dance anthem `Call On Me` by Eric Prydz is the new UK Number One hit single, knocking former Westlife singer Brian McFadden`s `Real To Me` all the way down from One to Six.
Girls Aloud certainly seem to have proved they`re here to stay, following up `The Show` with this week`s number Two hit, `Love Machine`, their sixth successive Top Three success and, notes James Masterton in his column for Yahoo! Launch, the fourth to peak at Number Two.
At Number Three - their biggest hit ever and only their second Top Ten single in a decade on the charts - Green Day make a boisterous return to the charts with the title track from their new album, American Idiot.
There`s one other new entry in the Top Ten - Joss Stone`s third chart single `You Had Me` follows up `Fell In Love With A Boy` and `Super Duper Love` at this week`s Number Nine.
Congratulations to Embrace. On the back of their hit single `Gravity`, their new album Out of Nothing has outsold this week`s number Two, Studio 150 by Paul Weller, to chart at Number One.
