snippet: Eminem has topped the charts this week with new single `Like Toy Soldiers`, featuring a sample from the 1989 Martika hit, becoming only the third artist this year to reach Number One. The artist who has held that position on three occasions in 2005 with three different singles is of course Elvis Presley and his phenomenal sequence of hits continues this week with a Number Two for `Are You Lonesome Tonight?` And with more copies of the original limited edition releases of `A Fool Such As I`, `One Night`, `Jailhouse Rock` and `It`s Now Or Never` now flooding the market, Elvis now has a total of five singles in the Top 40 - a UK chart first.
There`s a new entry at Three for Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem`s `Almost Here`. Ashanti`s `Only U` drops from Two to Four and there`s a new entry at Five for hotly-tipped London indie band Bloc Party with `So Here We Are`.
There`s not much more to report in the top Ten with only one more new entry - Good Charlotte`s `I Just Wanna Live` at Nine - but Duran Duran just miss out with their new single, `What Happens Tomorrow`, at Number 11. Meanwhile, over on the album chart, Athlete`s second album, Tourist, is new at One and Feeder`s fifth, Pushing The Senses, is a new entry at Two. [... more]
