His four-year suspension is about to expire. He is accused of directing staff at the Royal Liverpool Children`s Hospital to remove dead children`s body parts without the parents` knowledge permission, says The Scotsman. "Professor van Velzen was singled out for particular opprobrium in the official inquiry into the organ scandal at Alder Hey in 1999.
