snippet: Liam Neeson is set to star in the forthcoming Civil War epic, says The Independent. "Filming is to start next January," adds The Guardian, "but first Spielberg needs to complete his adaptation of HG Wells`s The War of the Worlds, scheduled for a June release. He may also choose to work first on Vengeance, a drama about the hostage crisis at the 1972 Munich Olympics." It seems movies are more popular than ever. The Telegraph says box office takings were at an all-time high last year while The Guardian reports that "more people bought DVDs than cinema tickets last year".
