Reporter Guy Patrick reckons the assault "graphically illustrated the culture of yob rule on the streets" and Thursday`s Telegraph says Greater Manchester police Chief Supt David Baines blames the parents. "They are feral, have no parental control or respect for anybody and are often fuelled by alcohol," he says of the gangs of youths seen hanging around on the city`s street corners. "They don`t give a damn about the police or the criminal justice system."
