If this is the first time you've bought a pampering experience, you'll soon discover that there are quite a few companies essentially repackaging the same product. In most cases, what you will receive is a voucher, often but not always valid for one year from date of purchase, entitling the bearer to an aromatherapy massage, a relaxing day at a health spa, a makeover and photo session or perhaps a special day out like a visit to a recording studio or a trip on the Orient Express. There are a dozens of health resorts in Britain where you can unwind or indulge, so the Pampering Experience site lets you browse around the options in your region. If you live in London then you're spoiled for choice; if you're in East Anglia, on the other hand, you'll have a slightly narrower choice; and if you're in Northern Ireland you may find your choice quite limited. Often the retailer won't list the precise location so we just repeat what their website says. For instance, you can decide for yourself whether one chill-out day in a Staffordshire health spa is in fact exactly the same as another one listed on a rival site for a different price.
